Need Help Getting “Unstuck?”
First, a little bit about me as a Certified LIFE COACH…
I have a Masters Degree in Social Work, but when we moved down to Florida from the Philadelphia area, Florida would not accept reciprocity for my social work license. I knew I would need to reinvent myself. I had heard about life coaching and decided to do some research. I found a certification program through the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC) and decided to pursue it. I loved the concept of helping clients get “unstuck” in the “here and now” and that it was based on quick results. That would only mean between 2–6 sessions. I started advertising, and before long, I had a very successful practice! But when other job opportunities and responsibilities came up in my life, sadly, I needed to end the practice.
Recently I began thinking about how stressful the pandemic has been for everyone, and now seems like the perfect opportunity to relaunch my life coaching practice! I am very excited to come alongside and help you get the train to the next station! I am here for you. —Goldie

Frequently Asked Questions
WHAT IS A LIFE COACH?
A good Life Coach is someone who can take you from where you are now to where you want to be. The analogy I like to use: The train is stuck in the station. How can I get it out of the station and moving forward?
As a Life Coach, I will come alongside and guide you in developing an ACTION PLAN. This will involve setting a goal that you would like to attain. This goal is usually an area in your life that you are the most concerned about, i.e., it’s in “neon lights” and blocking you from realizing your full potential in life.
Once the goal has been established, then we will break it down together into simple steps necessary to get you there. How do we eat an elephant? One bite at a time! A Life Coach, much like any coach, will offer suggestions, constructive feedback, encouragement, and accountability.
Life Coaching is based on the present, not the past!
Of course, some history is necessary to understand patterns of behavior, but we will not “camp out” there. Life Coaching is not therapy! It is solution-focused and short-term, therefore, it is cost-effective as well.
WHO CAN BENEFIT?
Anyone who is “stuck” can benefit from Life Coaching! I have met with teenagers, parents, couples, and individuals of all ages and walks of life. Life Coaching is the new wave of the future. Since we are a “microwave” society, we want quick results with little time or cost investment.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
I would like to offer your FIRST SESSION FREE OF CHARGE! That way, you can see if Life Coaching will work for you! If not, no questions asked.
Because Life Coaching focuses on the “here and now,” usually 3–6 sessions is all the time needed to see results!
Due to the pandemic, the best way to meet is through technology: Zoom, Skype, Face Time, etc. Each session is 1 hour. After the free session, payment is due prior to the next session. I am aware that during this difficult time, many may be struggling financially, so I will offer a sliding-fee schedule that works within your budget.
Together, we will design an ACTION PLAN that works for you with accountability emails in between sessions. Everyone needs an encourager and someone “in their corner.” I am here for you!
With today’s technology, it’s easier than ever to schedule your sessions from anywhere in the world and in any setting.
Remember, your FIRST SESSION IS FREE, so you have nothing to lose and everything to gain! RIGHT NOW is a great time to send me an email. Don’t put it off!
Possible areas to explore together:
- Stress and positive coping techniques to navigate the pandemic and move forward.
- Reinventing or reimagining yourself as you discover new insights and the need for change.
- Anxiety that involves focusing on the “what ifs” and overthinking the future.
- Depression, which often means dwelling on the past with the focus on: “If only I could have done (you fill in the blank) better or differently.”
- Grief and loss.
- Improve communication skills in marriage, friendships, families, and work relationships.
- Anger management.
- Time management.
- Thought management.
- Organization skills.
